Best Western Hotel -Network Repair and Vendor Coordination
Challenge: Best Western Hotel had network connectivity issues with both their guest Wireless Network, as well as their internal staff network. The networks included a reservation
system that came in via sattellite, 2 separate ISP's, and a load balancer, as well as multiple routers. There were internet connectivity drops as well as constant complaints from guests
as to the poor internet service.
Solution: ALL IT coordinated with 6 different vendors and support teams to fix the network over the course of 3-4 days. 70% of the time was spent coordinating the different teams and
properly diagnosing the issues, while 30% of the time was spent performing needed upgrades to the network. At the end, the connectivity issues were resolved and there were no more
complaints from guests.
